About Us

"If we are to better the future we must disturb the present"
Catherine Booth

Inequality in trade throughout the world must be disturbed if we are to be part of the solution, helping to improve the lives of those currently living in poverty. Fairtrade is part of the answer and offers consumers a fairer alternative when buying everyday products. We’re excited to offer a range affordable T-Shirts made with both Fairtrade certified and organic cotton, to the New Zealand market.

Micah Clothing aims to respect the people who produce the cotton, manufacture the clothing and those wearing it. Micah Clothing is founded on the principals of Micah 6:8 to “Act Justly, Love Mercy and Walk Humbly”.

Darren Frazer a part time Salvation Army Youth Workers went looking for a source of Fairtrade Cotton t-shirts in New Zealand, but found none, so decided to do something about it. We have ensured our supply chain is registered under the FLO ( Fairtrade Labelling Organisation) , the cotton is also organic ( Certified by SKAL).
